A Conferência 2022 World of Shipping Portugal – An International Research Conference on Maritime Affairs, realiza-se nos dias 27 e 28 de janeiro em formato online.


A Conferência 2022 World of Shipping Portugal – An International Research Conference on Maritime Affairs realiza-se desde 2019, ocorrendo a terceira edição nos dias 27 e 28 de janeiro.

O evento é organizado e coordenada por Ana Casaca, fundadora e CEO da World of Shipping Portugal,reunindo um painel de oradores de elevado gabarito – reputadas autoridades do transporte marítimo global. Inclui várias sessões temáticas animadas por especialistas de todo o mundo, sendo apresentados mais de duas dezenas de artigos de pesquisa de nível internacional, focados em temas e desafios atuais.

O programa do evento está já disponível e as inscrições para participação estão abertas a todos os interessados.

Sobre Ana Casaca

Ana Cristina Casaca é doutorada em Transporte Internacional/Logística. A sua formação académica é sustentada pela sua carreira náutica na indústria do transporte marítimo. Após um período de alguns anos a trabalhar a bordo de navios, concluiu, em 1995, a licenciatura em gestão e tecnologias marítimas (ENIDH). Em 1997 concluiu o mestrado em International Logistics no Institute of Marine Studies, University of Plymouth. Em 1998 alcançou a acreditação profissional por parte do Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS). Em 2003 concluiu o doutoramento em International Transport/Logistics.

É membro do Centro de Investigação em Modelação e Otimização de Sistemas Multifuncionais (CIMOSM, ISEL); Fellow do Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS); e membro da International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME). Colabora com várias publicações internacionais, com destaque para as seguintes: Maritime Business Review (Associate Editor); Journal of International Logistics (Editorial Board Member); Universal Journal of Management (Editorial Board Member); Frontiers in Future Transportation (Review Editor); e Journal of Shipping and Trade (Guest Editor).

Publicou artigos de natureza profissional em edições nacionais e vários artigos de investigação em jornais internacionais de renome na área marítima. Desde 2003, é convidada pela Comissão Europeia para avaliar propostas e projetos relacionados com transportes, bem como revisão de trabalhos académicos por pares. Gere atualmente a World of Shipping Portugal.
